Humans are a combination of flesh, nerves, ligaments, muscles, tendons and skin. Every human has unique characteristics and a unique physique, but there might be one thing we don’t know. Since all matter in the world can be broken down to particles and molecules, why can’t us humans be seen as a combination of particles and molecules as well? My artwork project depicts and shows us from the point of view as we are made from particles and molecules. The idea for this artwork is to reveal the nature of our reality by drawing a portrait of a girl standing at the bus stop. As we know it now, we cant see the atoms and molecules that form us, but with this portrait, we are capable of seeing what it would look like if we were to see humans this way. We see skin and bones through our eyes, but what if it was actually electrons and protons that are so small, it isn’t even imaginable to the human eye to see. If we perceive the world in terms of Quantum Physics, our reality is just a complex matrix of energy. My artwork depicts how everything from a mega building made of steel and concrete to a human being is just energy condensed together. Like I said, we see skin and bones, but what if in reality we were to see particles from the sky forming our structure everyday.

Everything can be broken down to atoms and particles. I used bright colors to enhance the visual aspect of my artwork and I made the girl’s clothing light colors so that the particles would look better. There are many possibilities to everything in life, but what if everything that is found around us acts differently when they are being observed or not just like the electrons. We see everyday human beings as normal subjects that are made of flesh and skin and muscles. But the thing is what if we actually see electron and protons, but our brain convinces us differently. My artwork project is mainly focused around the idea of the absolutely small.

To conclude for my artwork project, small can define a quantity and it can define size of matter, but mixed with the idea of quantum physics where anything is possible, what if small was us humans and small is just playing games with our eyesight and brains.
