My painting has the concept of quantum theory: the wave nature of matter, and energy of emission spectrum. When the electron particles exit through a barrier with two slits there is a reaction where the particles diffract and cause an interference pattern, but the expected behavior is that when a electron particle exits a two slit barrier it shouldn't cause a diffraction it should just pass through the two slit barrier. When this was experimented with a observer the particles seemed to behave as a normal particle, in the other hand without the observer there seems to be a diffraction caused with only one particle exiting the slit. In my painting I made the sun the observer who causes the dolphins which represent electron particles behave normally on the ocean. While the dolphins on the shore which isn't being observed, which is represented by the moon, it seems to be behaving in an unusual manner that cannot be explained. They seem to behave as a human: sunbathing, dancing, making sand castle, and on the shore. In a normal situation a dolphin wouldn't be able to perform any of these actions out of the water. By this part of the painting I tried to demonstrate in a different perspective of the behavior of electron particles by using a representation, the dolphins, which isn't a dolphin in this case. In the background the sun is emitting light particles which seems to act normally as it is emitted to the earth, until it reaches the dark side when it starts to behave as waves as it is in a range where the sun isn't capable of seeing it, and it is well hidden from the moon because the moon is asleep along with the stars. Another background I painted which is related to quantum theory is the mountains, it starts of small at the left and as it goes to the right it gets larger and also the distance between the mountain increases from the left to the right. This is suppose to represent the energy of emission spectrum and in between these mountains there aren't any thing, just a gap of emptiness. The size of the mountains represents the energy levels and the distance of the mountains represents the distance of the orbitals. Also the background itself represents quantum theory's complexity the sun and the moon is out at the same time and they produce a perfect split between light side and the dark side. This isn't a natural incident usually when the sun and moon are out together the sun brightens everything, not only half the beach and the other side dark.
