By the first sight, a black box with two slits can be seen. This represents the double- slit experiment. Also; it is possible to open the box in order to see the result of this experiment. Moreover, by opening the box, we will enter in the quantum world.
The result of the experiment explaining the behavior of electrons is only a part of the human-like broken clock. The big clock is broken in the middle and a mysterious black space separates the clock in two parts. In the part above, the broken edge is painted with dots which represent particles. In the part below, the broken edge is a curve line which represents waves. Of course, the two parts illustrate the duality of light.
The black space in the middle refers to the weird behavior of electrons: electron cannot be wave and particle at the same time. Alternatively, maybe it might be possible, the only problem is that observers have interfered when they observe. That is why there is an eye in the middle (in the black space), in order to show that the black space is caused by observers. In other words, we cannot be sure about the behavior of the electrons. The black space is also linked to all the empty space behind. It means that there are still a lot of things we cannot observe and do not know. The color black represents mystery.
In the part above, the clock hand in form of particles which is pointing to the number 13 means that all numbers like 13 are only representative of numbers. It does not matter if I put 13, 678, or 0. In the other part below, a second clock hand is drawn in form of wave. It points to number I. Since the two hands are pointing on two different times and the clock is deformed, it shows that time is relative.
Behind the enormous deformed clock which takes almost all the place, there is space and a beam of light coming from a far-away sun. It means time; space and speed of light is the core of the Theory of Relativity.
Moreover, we can also see the sun far behind, and the light coming from the sun deviates and goes along the edge of the clock. That represents the relativity of space. The clock is like a heavy star which curves the space. This light represents the visible light with the different colors. And the eye for “observer” also represents the eye of humans; it could only see visible light. In overall, the broken clock with the eye looks like a human’s face. It definitely represents humans. We are always curious and we like to observe, to discover, and to think.
I used many bright colors in order to enhance the visual impact.
Finally, if we close the box and put it upside down, then reopen it again. A bird flying to the sun should be seen. This coincidence shows that a lot of things have two sides and people do not always notice. It might be against people’s common sense. This is called quantum.
